His company, BLACSPICE MEDIA, is a media-enrichment company specialising in media and arts programmes and making media productions. In 2021, Saleem was awarded Singapore's Skillsfuture Fellowship Award from President Halimah Yacob for his immense contributions to the media-arts industry as both a practitioner and educator.
