Adan Jimenez was born in California to Mexican immigrant parents. He became an immigrant himself when he moved to Singapore after living in New York for almost a decade. He is a writer, editor, and apprentice translator. He is one half of AJ Low, the team behind the best-selling Sherlock Sam mystery series.

林菀雯，土生土长的新加坡人。投入剧场灯光设计近二十年，2011年获国家艺术理事会颁发青年艺术家奖。去年通过书籍理事会和茗译联合主办的文学翻译学徒计划SALT首次尝试文学翻译。

Born and bred in Singapore, Lim Woan Wen began her mid-career foray into literary translation through the Singapore Apprenticeship in Literary Translation (SALT) programme, co-organised by the Singapore Book Council and Tender Leaves Translation, in June 2022. For the last twenty years or so, she has established herself in the theatre as a lighting designer, and was conferred the Young Artist Award in 2011 by the National Arts Council.

Wee Kek Koon is a writer with Hong Kong's South China Morning Post, where he has had a weekly column on Chinese history, culture and language for over 15 years. He is also a working translator of academic publications, mainly on Chinese history, with occasional forays into literary translation. His translations of short stories, excerpts of novels, and lyrics have been published in translation journals. He wants to become much more engaged in literary translation, beyond the occasional forays.

Sarah Ang has won multiple international awards for her writing, including first place in the Wilbur Smith Author of Tomorrow Award, first place in the iYeats Poetry Competition, first place in the NUS Creative Writing Competition, second place in the Walter Swan Poetry Prize, and third place in the Wells Literature Festival Young Poets Competition. Chen Nan is a long-time literature enthusiast. She clinched the third prize in the 2016 “Creativity, No Boundaries!” National Children’s Story Writing Competition and the distinguished achievement award in the 2019 National Creative Story Writing Competition for Secondary Students. These two works had been collected and published as supplementary reading materials for primary and secondary students. She was selected to be part of the sixth batch of Lianhe Zaobao Word Gobblers columnists from 2020-2021.

Fadhli Fadzil merupakan mahasiswa tahun terakhir di Institusi Pendidikan Nasional, khusus dalam Pengajian dan Kesusasteraan Melayu. Fadhli mula menulis pada usia 16 dan pada 2020, beliau telah menswaterbitkan kumpulan puisi sebagai dokumentasi perjalanannya dalam Perkhidmatan Negara. Pada 2022, beliau telah memenangi Tempat Pertama dalam Pertandingan Puisi Nasional.

Fadhli Fadzil, 24, is a penultimate student from National Institute of Education, majoring in Malay Language and Literature. He began writing at the age of 16 and in 2020, he self-published a collection of poems in Malay, documenting his National Service journey.

Fadhli found growth in his writing and won First Place in National Poetry Competition 2022 for the Malay (Senior) category.

பிரியாவின் எழுத்து பயணம் 2020-யில் துவங்கி, பற்பல ஆங்கில சிறு கதைகளும், கவிதைகளுமாய் உருவெடுத்தது. முதலில் தனது உணர்வுகளை எழுத தொடங்கி, பிறகு கதைகளையும் சுவாரஸ்யமான கதாபாத்திரங்களையும் எழுதுவதே நோக்கமாக கொண்டிருந்தார். தமிழில் சுஜாதா அவர்களின் கதைகளை படித்து தமிழ் மொழியில் எழுத ஆர்வம் கொண்டார்.

Priya began writing short fiction in 2020 and dabbled in various forms of creative writing as a hobby. Her first introduction to Tamil writing was after being inspired by the author Sujatha. Through the mentorship, she hopes to learn the foundations of Tamil creative writing and polish her skills as a budding writer.

Koh Jie Ning is a budding translator. She is currently pursuing a degree in Translation and Interpretation at Singapore University of Social Sciences. She is also a passionate foodie. She has a diploma in Restaurant and Culinary Operations. She intends to be a translator who specialises in food and beverage-related translation.
