疫情过后,独立书店正卷土重来。聆听新加坡、马来西亚和台湾独立书店对如何复兴和可以蓬勃发展的看法,他们所面临的独特挑战,以及对未来的展望与期许。

本场见面会以华语进行并由驻马来西亚台北经济文化办事处提供支持。

Independent bookstores are making a comeback after the pandemic. Hear perspectives from Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan on how independent bookstores are revived and thriving, each of their unique challenges and their hopes and prospects for the future.

吴明益 Wu Ming-yi

有时写作、画图、摄影、耕作。现任国立东华大学华文文学系教授。著有散文集《迷蝶志》、《蝶道》、《家离水边那么近》、《浮光》;短篇小说集《本日公休》、《虎爷》、《天桥上的魔术师》、《苦雨之地》,长篇小说《睡眠的航线》、《复眼人》、《单车失窃记》,论文「以书写解放自然系列」三册。最新作品为《海风酒店》。作品已译为二十多国语言,曾获法国岛屿文学奖小说奖(Prix du Livre Insulaire)、日本本屋大赏翻译类第三名。并曾入围(选)英国曼布克国际奖(Man Booker International Prize)、法国爱弥尔.吉美亚洲文学奖( Prix Émile Guimet de littérature asiatique )、德国柏林影展Books at Berlinale(Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival)、日本星云奖(Seiun Awards Nominees)海外长编部门候补、《Time Out Beijing》百年来最佳中文小说、《亚洲周刊》年度十大中文小说、香港浸会大学红楼梦专家推荐奖。国内曾获台北国际书展小说大奖、台湾文学奖图书类长篇小说金典奖、《联合报》文学大奖、金鼎奖年度最佳图书、「开卷」年度好书及多项年度选书等。

Wu Ming-yi is a writer, an artist, designer, photographer, literary professor, environmental activist, and his works have been translated into over twenty languages. His novel, The Man With The Compound Eyes, which won the Prix du livre insulaire for best work of fiction in French, and named on Berlin International Film Festival’s “Books at Berlinale”, and The Stolen Bicycle long-listed for The Man Booker International Prize 2018.

Moderator

叶孝忠,旅游作家和独立出版人、《联合早报》专栏作家, 曾担任《孤独星球》指南出版人,并在中国和台湾出版多本旅游文学书籍等。

Yap Seow Choong is a travel writer from Singapore who was the publisher and consultant for the Lonely Planet guide books in China. He has also written more than 10 books on travel in Taiwan and China. He writes for Lianhe Zaobao and contributes regularly to Global Times.
