How to Write a Short Story in Three Steps
Join Lu Min, one of China’s most celebrated authors, as she takes you from inspiration to the realisation of a story. The author of six novels and nine short story collections, and winner of the prestigious Lu Xun Literary Award, Lu Min will talk about the stages of creating a short story or novella.
This session is in Mandarin and is suitable for all levels.
Lu Min (鲁敏)
Born in Dongtai, Jiangsu province, Chinese novelist Lu Min’s works include Dinner for Six, Father on the Wall, The Viewfinder, The Banquet Companion and Drunk on Paper. She has received numerous prizes, including the Lu Xun Literary Prize, the People’s Literature Prize and the Yu Dafu Prize for Fiction, and also made the ‘Top 20 Future Masters’ list by People’s Literature magazine.
