From his films Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway to his TV series Twin Peaks, David Lynch has earned a reputation for non-linear storytelling, unforgettable cinematic language, and characters who will haunt you.  Film critic Dennis Lim dissects the cult film-maker.  

FEATURING

Dennis Lim is the director of programming at the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York. The film editor at The Village Voice from 2000 to 2006, he has also written for Artforum, Cahiers du Cinéma, The New York Times and other publications. Dennis has taught film studies at Harvard and cultural criticism at New York University. He is the author of David Lynch: The Man from Another Place (2015) and editor of The Village Voice Film Guide (2006).
