DESCRIPTION

Karl runs a blog on the Internet, where he collects and compiles photographs and videos. After Doro, a girl he fell in love with, loses interest, Karl realises: nothing is true, everything is random. Disillusioned, he starts playing a dangerous game, where his blog followers take increasingly more control of his life.  The film is in German with English subtitles. There will be a post-show talk with director Julia Langhof, who also co-wrote the screenplay.

This film, presented in conjunction with the German Film Festival, is part of the Country Focus: Germany.

FEATURING

Born 1981 in Berlin, she studied acting in NY and directing at the dffb Berlin. Her shorts screened successfully around the world. Her debut LOMO played at numerous festivals and won many awards, including Best Screenplay (Munich) and the Bavarian Film prize. A nationwide theatrical release followed. Julia is represented by Players and is working on her second feature Bonnie's Ranch.
