DESCRIPTION

The Bluest Silence (1998) is a seminal record which reset Kelvin Tan’s standing, from a lead guitarist of The Oddfellows to a singer-songwriter with a singular vision. The cult classic not only reveals his literary passion for T.S. Eliot, Samuel Beckett and W.B. Yeats, but also oozes with his love for troubadours like Nick Drake and Tim Buckley, as well as jazz greats like Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Celebrating the album’s 20th anniversary, Tan will play all nine tracks live for the first time ever, possibly including a few new songs. This will be followed by a short Q&A session.
