DESCRIPTION

This conversation zooms in on the use of metaphors across genres from fiction, playwriting and creative non-fiction. How do metaphors allow writers to provide clarity or identify similarities across ideas? Is all language itself in essence metaphorical, and if so, what is the role of the writer in meaning-making?
