What are some Asian classics that should be recommended readings for a wider audience? Nazry Bahrawi will share excerpts from selected stories that have become obscured from public imagination and examine the challenges in making them more accessible.

Dr. Nazry Bahrawi is a senior lecturer at Singapore University of Technology and Design specialising in the study of Muslim texts and thoughts along the Indian Ocean. He is a co-founder of the Bras Basah Open collective for critical theory and philosophy in Singapore. He has translated two Malay literary works into English.
