Lavie Tidhar is the author of many short stories, novellas and novels, including Osama (2011), The Violent Century (2013), and A Man Lies Dreaming (2014). He has won the World Fantasy Award, the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize, and has been nominated for the Premio Roma. His latest novel, Central Station (2016), won the John W. His 2009 novel The Fat Years has been translated into 13 languages, while his 2015 novel The Second Year of Jianfeng made the Highly Recommended list of the 2016 Dream of the Red Chamber Award, and was also included in the ‘Twenty Chinese Novels from 2000 to 2015’ list by Taiwan’s National Culture and Arts Foundation.
