Clarissa Goenawan is an Indonesian-born Singaporean writer. Her award-winning short fiction has appeared in literary magazines and anthologies in Singapore, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, the UK, and the US. Rainbirds, her debut novel, has been published in eleven different languages. Her second novel, The Perfect World of Miwako Sumida, came out in March 2020.

O Thiam Chin

Singapore

O has published six collections of short fiction that include Love, Or Something Like Love, which was shortlisted for the 2014 Singapore Literature Prize for English Fiction. His debut novel, Now That It's Over, won the inaugural Epigram Books Fiction Prize in 2015, as well as the Best Fiction title at the 2017 Singapore Book Awards. Fox Fire Girl, his second novel, was shortlisted for the 2016 Epigram Books Fiction Prize. His latest novel, The Dogs (Penguin Random House SEA), is forthcoming in 2020.
