Ng Yi-Sheng is a poet, playwright, fiction writer, journalist, researcher and LGBT+ activist. He won the Singapore Literature Prize 2008 for his debut poetry collection,last boy. Other works include the non-fiction book SQ21: Singapore Queers in the 21st Century, a novelisation of the film Eating Air, the poetry collections Loud Poems for a Very Obliging Audience and A Book of Hims, and his newly published short story collection Lion City.
