Margaret Atwood has long been a literary titan with more than 50 volumes of poetry, children’s literature, fiction and non-fiction published in over 40 languages. The Canadian author is best known for her novels including Oryx and Crake, The Year of the Flood, and The Handmaid’s Tale which was adapted into an eleven-time Emmy Award-winning television series. Its Booker Prize-winning sequel, The Testaments, broke the record for best first-day sales of any Penguin Random House title in 2019. Her prolific career has garnered many prestigious international literary awards including the Arthur C Clarke Award, the PEN Pinter Prize, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
