Jeremy Tiang (程异)

以新马左翼运动为历史背景的英文长篇小说 State of Emergency(紧急状态)(Epigram Books 小说决选作品)作者,也曾凭英文短篇小说集 It Never Rains on National Day (国庆日从不下雨)入围新加坡文学奖决选。也积极投入文学和剧本翻译,译过不下十部中文著作,包括中文作家英培安、张悦然、尤今、陈浩基的著作。程异现居纽约,出任亚美作家工作室亚洲文学课程主编。

 

Jeremy Tiang is the author of the short story collection It Never Rains on National Day (Singapore Literature Prize finalist), and the novel State of Emergency (Epigram Books Fiction Prize finalist). He also writes and translates plays, and has translated more than 10 books from Chinese, including novels by Yeng Pway Ngon, Zhang Yueran, You Jin and Chan Ho-Kei. Jeremy lives in New York City, where he is the editor of Asia Literary Programmes at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.
