Shoes Lambada Zimbabwe

Born Robson Isaac Shoes in 1981 in Kadoma, Zimbabwe, Shoes Lambada discovered performance poetry during his last year in high school in 2000. The first international platform where he performed at was the Zimbabwe International Book Fair in 2001. He is the co-founder and programmes manager of Zimbabwe Poets for Human Rights, which was established in 2007. He has performed at Zimbabwe events like House of Hunger Poetry Slam, Mlomo Wako Poetry Slam and Harare International Festival of the Arts, as well as events in other countries, like InterAction Leadership Pan African Event (Senegal) and Info-Activism Camp (India) among others.
