Thiru Kandiah is a former professor of English at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. He was attached to the National University of Singapore for 13 years and briefly to the Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia. He has taught and published in the fields of linguistics and post-colonial literary studies.
