Bio
Kamini is the president and a founding member of the Storytelling Association (Singapore). Her grandparents were natural storytellers who inspired her to revive the lost art of the oral narrative tradition. Together with Verena Tay, she set up MoonShadow Stories in 2004. They were the pioneers in Singapore to focus on storytelling performances, especially for adult audiences. MoonShadow Stories believes that introducing the beauty and wonder of storytelling to adults will in turn benefit children.

Who or what book would you like to snuggle under covers with, and why?
"To snuggle under covers with Neil Gaiman! He could tell me bedtime tales of wolves that live within the walls of the house and of little girls who trespass into parallel worlds and graveyards full of spirits with even more tales to tell. Every time it rains in the afternoon, I reach for Jack Zipes’ Spells of Enchantment and snuggle into the sofa reading fairytales over and over again, they are timeless and I love escaping into their realm."
